      Not much information on this Reuters article but Gulfnews states:

      So US bombs Iran, lifts sanctions on Russian and Iranian oil, which they then sell and use money to fund their wars?

      Even if they allow it, what’s stopping the US from suddenly seizing all the ships once its out of the strait and in the Indian Ocean? Iran really can’t trust anything from the US anymore.

      If the US backs down now, Iran will make a mad dash for nukes.

      If the US doesn’t back down now, they will need to have boots on the ground to move a step up the escalation ladder and possibly change things.

      There are only bad options remaining for the US from here.
