      No way. They got the pilots. Imagine surviving the crash landing and then seeing that fpv fly towards you..

      Wow, I did *not* expect the pilots to walk away from that raging inferno.

      They probably said “today is our lucky day!” right before they spotted the second drone heading in for the kill.

      This had to be a planned ambush. FPV drones can’t out run a helo, they had to know they were coming.

      Insane. Shooting down a heli and killing the pilots within minutes from each other, only using drones.

      That heli wasn’t even burning anymore. Not sure how long that took? But not surprised that russians would leave there own out there to get picked off by drones.

      That’s one less KA-52 and its crew. Losing the crew must hurt more than the helo loss.
      Maybe helicopter crews are back to the Afghanistan / USSR days of flying knowing that they are not immune.

      Priceless hit! Training the crew is more costly and takes more time to replace than the helicopter and not to mention the opportunity cost. Huge win here.

      This is great! They can’t go low now,ñ or drones can get them, they can’t go high or manpads get them. Ukraine has really changed what warfare and military power look like.

      15-18 million for that chopper and two pilots, which are also very valuable. Thats a huge return for an FPV drone or two.
