      It’s crazy that 10g is in 100ml. It’s absolutely insane. I do like one once every summer.

      Edit: In Belgium, they didn’t ask producers to lower sugar, just added a sugar tax. It blames the consumer and gets more money squeezed out of that (usually young or poor) consumer. By the state and company.

      Hate that system.

      Wait is this why you can’t get diet sodas almost anywhere outside the US??? Y’alls stuff just has less sugar already?

      Bruh I drank nothing but water and alcohol on every overseas trip I’ve taken when the soda may have actually tasted good instead of like syrup.

      This is insane. Fanta is already incredibly sweet here. How do Americans, Ukrainians, Italians, etc, even drink it…

      Despite Fanta is not being officially sold in Russia, its local equivalent “Dobry Apelsin” from Multon (which is Coca-Cola subsidiary) contains 4.6% of sugar

      In Thailand, up to 14 grams of sugar per 100 ml. Drinking a 500 ml bottle means 70 grams of sugar

      The question is – in countries with lower amount of sugar, is the sweetness offset with artificial flavours, or is it actually less sweet?

      Yep. Ever since the ridiculous sugar tax was introduced here in Ireland, artificial sweeteners took over, and drinks are disgusting now. These bureaucrats ruined fucking Fanta.

      I’m curious about the under 6% ones, do they have artificial sweetener in addition to that sugar?
      The 11.2% Italian Fanta has only sugar and no sweetener (obviously), but the, let say, UK one ?

      This can’t be correct.
      Just checked 2 major supermarkets in Estonia. One listed Fanta with 9 g of sugar per 100ml, the other listed 10,3 g of sugar per 100ml.

      If I remember correctly there’s a second graph showing the share of Fanta that actually comes from Oranges. Italy has one of the higher sugar contents because there’s actually more orange in their Fanta.

      You are free to buy the Light version with this disgusting sweetener after taste though. Last time I had a „regular“ Fanta on vacation in Spain, I couldn’t even finish it, it’s so gross.

      In Slovenia it al depends in what kind of bottle you get.

      Another made up map. Why is the sugat in fanta slightly less in Ireland than UK? We get the same fanta….
