They are very desperate to ensure ai has to be bailed out to prevent an economic crash

Imagine $100 billion invested at 3% annual dividends. That’s $750,000,000 every three months.

Mega PE, for when regular private equity leaves too much on the table.

    5. Who the hell is going to buy all these products and services when all the workers are replaced by AI?

I’m wondering have they ever thought about how will people have the money to buy their products if they don’t have a job anymore? They are digging their own roots.

So he wants to spend $100 billion to get rid of jobs with a tech that nobody wants so he and his buddies can make more money they don’t need.

      The American Dream.

    8. Great. Robber baron who has half the world dependent on him for retail and web servers seeks to extend monopoly to yet more industries.

Is this a good time to remind everyone that Bezos worked at D. E. Shaw & Co from 1990 to 1994, in a newly created hedge fund with a strong emphasis on mathematical modelling?

Do a search for **Amazon, Bain Capital, and Citadel *bust out* the competition** for more information, paying special attention to the asset-stopping aspects of the „bust-out“ strategy.

How much money will it take to satisfy this asshole? How many lives does he have to destroy? Temu Lex Luthor.

Billionaires are an enemy to society and a threat to humanity. It is a mental illness to have that much money.

Why does he need one singular cent more than he already has? He won’t come anywhere close to spending the money he already has, now he wants to just automate entire industries because….?

      Billionaires are a cancer.

    12. Just take all of dudes money and launch him into space. Congratulations the world just improved

It should read: Billionaire trying to further monopolize his company under the guise of AI

Setting up a fund to funnel money to Blue Origin? That’s one way to get external funds.

All those unemployed people aren’t going to buy anything or pay any taxes that the rich manage to avoid.

    16. Explain to me why he needs funding for this? Seems like he could pay for it himself.

so… crush the smaller competition by sheer numbers and create yet another monopoly…. man, good thing we have anti-competition regulations, oh wait…

He’s going to spawn yet another industry – of humans validating AI. AI without validation is trouble waiting to happen.

    19. This is just private equity. Buy an asset, „make it lean“ and profit. In reality it just sweats the asset short term before ruining the business

I’ve been slowly separating myself from Amazon. I got really scared of counterfeits so I stopped ordering food and cosmetics/personal care items. I order direct now or from places that don’t use third party shippers, and as I seek other sources I find it easier to get used to the longer ship times.

If he eats up my sources I’m out. I’ll make my own soap and lotion, I’ve done it before I’ll do it again.
