    1. Crazy in 2026 they are still trying to hide it and cover up these crimes.

    2. This sounds like it has potential to blow up like Rotherham all over again if more information comes out about it.

    3. They suspected children being sexually assaulted so went to trading standards for help… Dear god west midlands police needs a purge!

West Midlands Police saying there wasn’t any evidence despite multiple agencies providing evidence, no cover up at all here folks.

Having read the BBC article linked West Midlands Police should be utterly ashamed.

Nothing to see here over the last 10 years, apart from the evidence. But if you ignore that we are good right?

      Cretins.

    6. >There is currently no evidence to substantiate these claims of child sexual exploitation (CSE) connected to shops in Dudley.“ But after further evidence was presented to it today by the BBC, West Midlands Police asked us to use an updated statement which did not contain the claims of „no evidence“. It said instead: „We have a robust partnership approach to CSE and safeguarding in the borough and across the wider West Midlands.

Tells you everything you need to know, anyone from birmingham would be able to tell you this is going on.

These same stock, no-customers, slop marts should’ve been on the coppers radar already. So shady.

The way the police changed their tune after BBC showed them evidence, then requested the BBC CHANGE the statement is a bit er….. Disgusting?

    9. The laws need to change. Sexual abuse of children should always get a whole life tariff. And keep them with the general population, the taxpayer shouldn’t be shelling out so they can live on special wings.

Isn’t the inquiry into CSE which Labour set up already not fit for purpose… After Labour U-turned on whether they were having one of course.

Surely it’s time for a thoroughly independent nationwide inquiry. To provide rapid recommendations and actions. Hold those to account who have failed the most vulnerable. Stop further abuse and blind eyes.

      Children need protecting from this.

Why are west mids police seemingly unwilling/reluctant to do their job?

      We need answers ASAP.

The cops will be involved in the abuse just like they were in Rotherham. Most likely the reason for a cover up.

West Midlands Police: “No evidence here.”
Also West Midlands Police, five minutes later: “Oh yeah, *that* child sexual abuse evidence…“

Was that statement written by AI too, like the football made up „evidence“?

Could you scream “cover-up” any louder? Somewhere on the East Coast of the USA, someone still hasn’t heard you.

Honestly, the only thing they’ve got going for them is they’re *absolutely* terrible at covering things up. Like worse than your average toddler.

Who would do such a thing?

Such things are becoming normalized in a way that just didn’t happen when I was younger…..why?
