      Pete Hegseth revealed he was forced to defend the administration’s decision to launch the war against Iran by his young son. 

      The Defense Secretary made the stunning revelation during a press briefing at the Pentagon on Thursday while discussing the ongoing conflict. 

      ‚My 13-year-old son popped into my office last night while I was editing these remarks. He asked about the war and the families I met at Dover,‘ Hegseth told reporters. 

      ‚I looked at him and said, „They died for you, son. So your generation doesn’t have to deal with a nuclear Iran.“‚

      The wording of this article makes it seem that his son said this to him and not the other way around:

      ‚My 13-year-old son popped into my office last night while I was editing these remarks. He asked about the war and the families I met at Dover,‘

      ‚I looked at him and said, „They died for you, son. So your generation doesn’t have to deal with a nuclear Iran.“‚

      Where did the exclamation mark come from? Am I missing something?

      Clickbait title, his son asked a question politely. There was no „confrontation“. We can make Hegseth look bad enough with the truth, we have no need to embellish like this.

      They didn’t die for his son.

      Those Service members died to try and distract media attention from trumps failing fiscal policy and Epstein troubles. And from the misguided belief that war will always generate Republican votes.

      Those soldiers died for Israel and Israel’s puppet that goes by the name Trump. I don’t know what Israel’s government has on Trump, but he seems to do whatever they want.
