      funny how officials sound very confident on paper, then get a little selective once people can push back in real time.

      Tulsi Gabbard is an Assadist. At the same time, the rest of this administration is dumber than rocks. This just feels like we are priming the conditions for a massive geopolitical disaster.

      This is a simplistic view. They are struggling for cash and much of the infrastructure is under rubble. The problem is that they wanted to rebuild no matter the cost. They even threatened the US negotiators that they would rebuild and enrich even more. They said they had enough HEU for 11 bombs.

      „Preemptive action“ when black and brown people are killed without provocation but „terror attack“ and „holocaust“ when the victims are caucasian and the other side defends itself.

      Rather reminiscent of the whole weapons of mass destruction debacle when Bush promised an end in weeks, but it turned into 8+ years of massive cost and instability. Also, like Iran, Iraq posed no legitimate immediate threat.

      This is a truly differential level of administrative disorganization. Which I suppose makes sense as MAGA seeks to dismantle the administrative state.
