“Every reporter carries countless stories yet to be told. If a reporter dies, those stories disappear with them.” – war correspondent, Andriy Dubchak
Every time Frontliner reporters begin working on a story, they face the same difficult decision: to go to dangerous places and show the world what is really happening.
That is why we are launching the Behind Every Story project. Our goal is to equip every Frontliner reporter with an individual first aid kit. Together with our team, we are designing kits that are practical for field reporting. We are doing this in partnership with the UA First Aid Foundation, which has been providing high-quality medical kits to military personnel and civilians since 2022.
To make this project possible, we hope to raise funds for 30 first aid kits, one for each member of the Frontliner team. If the campaign grows, we plan to extend this support to other media outlets and newsrooms facing similar risks.
Support from our community is essential. These are people who believe in the importance of independent reporting from Ukraine. [One monthly Patreon subscription](https://www.patreon.com/frontliner_ua) can provide a tourniquet, a thermal blanket, or trauma shears. The larger our community grows, the faster we will be able to equip every Frontliner reporter with an individual first aid kit.

Behind every story you have read on Frontliner is a person. Andriy. Olena. Nadiia. Diana. And many others. Every story has a name. Help protect their lives so they can continue telling the stories that matter.

First aid kits are useless without proper training how to use them.
