Houston has been terrible the last few months. People are really getting tired of his BS. Too trump like. And the province is broke as hell still with all the money just disappearing. Change is desperately needed on all levels. Soon there won’t be anything left to cut..
Go Kinew! Not really a surprise to see him on top and the likes of DoFo and Legault at the bottom. It’s nice to see that Canadians can still recognize issues with their premiers. I’m still hurting that Ontario can’t seem to give Ford the boot though.
Not very many politicians can survive raising taxes and cutting services at the same time.
Eby seems like a good guy with his heart in the place, but a masterful political leader he is not
Kinew proving to federal dippers that being socially progressive, focusing almost exclusively on the economy, and not being intransigently against resource development and oil and gas makes you electable **and** popular. I hope we get Kinew 2029 or sooner. We need a sensible and pragmatic federal NDP.
Eby is in a tough spot with massive deficits and increasing concern about his management of aboriginal title. He needs to either change course hard to rebuild public trust, or just concede that his government is done and try to push through as many vanity projects as he can before he’s officially done.
Eby was run through the wringer for dismissing the northern pipeline that had no corporate proponents, plus his wishy washy stand on land claims over private property.
How ironic. Ford had approval ratings in 30s since 2022. Still he ended up winning the election in 2025. Surprisingly just around election his approval rating improved to 40s and then back to 30s. Lol. This prove that all these datapoints are stupid and makes no sense. Who are these stupid people 15% voters who continued to hate him till election, loved him during election and again started to hate him after election?
Eby has not been delivering the things he promised in the election, turned away from his base, and has raised taxes remarkably across the board.

At this point I know many people hoping that the Greens can find some good candidates for a change so that they can vote that way.
The guy badly needs to shake up his cabinet and his caucus. He needs to start focusing on delivering the things his base worked hard to elect him for.
