      Wait till you find out what the overhead for DLSS 5 will be – not only will it be slop – but slop that you might need new cards for.

      Jensen can be both out of touch and also correct that the people negatively gut reacting to this are going to eventually be proven wrong.

      Their presentation of the new tech is the problem, not the tech itself. Just wait. People are going to start quietly changing their minds once devs start implementing.

      AI geometry and textures, like the garbage GTA Definitive Edition did.

      Limitations are part of the artistic process. ANYTHING a second party does to a finished art product in post takes control away from the artist. Further, anything done with generative AI converges to mediocrity. That’s not a criticism, it’s how generative AI works; by rule of average. It’s why most of what gets generated looks/sounds/reads/works OK, but few if any results are remarkable.

      It’ll all come out in the wash when sales decrease or increase based on its use.

      I’m not a big fan of what i’ve seen so far with it myself, but the only thing these idiots listen to is dollars, and even then sometimes their egos won’t let them admit when they’re wrong/

      Honestly I don’t think it looks all bad. What it looks to me is like it’s trying to shift the original art towards more realism, and the demo showed mixed results. Whether you want that or not is another story.

      Maybe on 2016 prices I would buy their 8 GB GPUs catching on fire, to play stuttering games with enhanced Gamecube graphics. But they do not worth as much as they ask for it.
