Canadian here: while Canada is definitely feeling the full force of disinformation campaigns, have to say that on the ground, that “9 out of 10 Canadians unequivocally support Ukraine/view Russia as the wholly unprovoked aggressor” feels pretty damn rock solid.
Not only is the Ukrainian diaspora just absolutely integral to the very fibre of Canada, but we’re also super pragmatic and recognize that Ukraine has become the world leader in defending against a much larger, deranged neighbour…and that’s something we’re very, very eager to learn from our Ukrainian friends.

Plus, I feel that people have started to tune out much of the deluge of disinformation. It’s not as effective as it was it 2016-2020.
