Since the incumbent NDP MP in Québec is likely resigning for provincial politics that seat is basically guaranteed to the Liberals.

Shoutout to r/Vaughan for being the only entirely conservative city in Canada.

This makes me nervous. I live in a riding where the most recent 2 projections turned out to be horribly incorrect; each time, it was a „safe“ projection but ended up with an unexpected result.

Weird thing is that the rest of the province’s projections seem more or less correct both times. It’s just my riding.

  5. This is based on an aggregate of 8 different recent polls, along with historical data and some modelling. It’s a reputable and popular site in Canada, and everything is documented.

He’s the core of the data and its results.

PM Mark Carney is very popular as he approaches his first year in office, and has single handedly reinvigorated the lagging Liberal party after 10 years under Justin Trudeau. He’ll get a majority soon with 3 byelections next month. That could lock in 4 more years for PM Carney.

I struggle understanding this stuff. I’m just an average guy. Husband, father of 2 kids, stay at home wife. I look around, not online, but in real life, and everything is worse, and getting worse every single year. I don’t remember a year that got better than the previous year. Everyone is complaining about immigration, housing, cost of groceries, cost of living, economy etc. And yet, we keep voting the same way

As a guy who traditionally votes conservative I could not vote for the federal cons with PP in charge. I’d be more upset if I was a liberal because the liberals of right now are the conservative party I voted for a decade ago.

    So our options are:

    1. Slowly erode the standard of living in the country by importing mass amounts of foreign workers to be exploited by greedy corporations and the abysmal housing market

    2. Destroy the country by cleaving it in half

    3. Destroy the 51st state

    Oh, Canada.
