I mean it can go either way with that date, it’s too blurry. But it is weird that they’re dropping this instead of an interview. I’m not saying he’s 100% safe and sound, but this is shaky evidence at best. The masks too, they could just be a socially acceptable way for his agents to hide their identity.

At first glance that does look like 2024 but given that the rest of the date is correct I would just chalk that up to compression of 26 such that it looks a bit like 24.
A while back we got a speeding ticket for somewhere we hadn’t been. Turned out someone had cloned our plates. In trying to work out what was going on we tried to zoom in on the plate in the tiny photo printout to see if it was a match. On a new phone taking a photo of it and zooming it absolutely butchered it to the point where half the numbers and letters appeared different. The compression algorithm was doing something weird. On my old phone, even though the camera was lower resolution it read far more clearly and I could see it was a match. The difference between the two devices was huge. Unclear if it was just a different compression algorithm or if it was trying to interpret text on the new phone but whatever it did was useless.
