  1. So, during the event the government tried to make illegal, the only people that caused a problem were counter protestors…

Can we stop importing conflicts into Canada?

It does not benefit us as a society in any way. Let the belligerents beat themselves into a pulp on their own soil.

And before anyone comes out to comment with labels. Let me be clear I don’t care what happens between Iran, Israel or Palestine. I’m not pro any side. I am anti giving these places any resources or attention.

If „demonstrators“ actually spent this energy on domestic issues we would probably be a better country.

Funny how the headline doesn’t make it clear that BOTH the people facing charges are COUNTER protestors. This happens nearly every single time there’s a pro Palestine protest. Another addition to Canadian mainstream journalism’s abject track record on Palestine.

Also, was one of the people arrested the one who [brought an effigy of a lynched/hanged Palestinian to the counterprotest](https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaleft/s/iCcBAe1kfU)? Is the RCMP investigating [the Facebook user who threatened to show up at the protest with a weapon](https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaleft/s/Y3u7i7HnUN)? In this inverted reality Doug Ford and the TPS chief are happy to point fingers at the pro Palestine protestors, while the facts plainly show which side is violent.
