Can feel the frustration of the operator. Dying to find a target but only finds harden bunkers. Hmmpf guess I’ll just hit this random door.

if this war keeps up they will get better at using fpv drones like rus and Ukrainian

Seems not very well planned. Its like looking around, maybe this object? Nah, no, let’s go further, something in this corner? No, okay, let’s ram into this bunker thing.

Dangerous capability coupled with the (apparent?) lack of counter-UAS systems. Hope there is atleast some investment into Soft/ Hard-kill systems.

They will get better at flying them. Unless the US is able to aggressively attrit them. I would not want to be a Trump advisor these days… They are gonna be telling him a lot of bad news.

  6. As a vet it’s absolutely unreal to me that we’re going to see U.S. soldiers on the receiving end of these at some point here shortly.

Lol couldn’t find a target, hit a random door.

Cnn will see this and run an article how Iran is destroying the US and humiliating trump.

  8. Good footage, but incompetent operators. I was wondering when we would start seeing FPV footage from this conflict. Leave it to Iranian backed groups to be as incompetent at this as they are at anything else.

So how can it be a fiber optic controlled drone and the cable does not snag on something?

So many things you could hit on a base and you choose to hit…a random support building

Anti-drone netting over the entire base would 99% solve this problem. I remember seeing it in Ukraine a few months ago covering roads. Can’t jam the fiber-optic but the pilots don’t bother trying, they’d need several successive drones in the same spot to find an entrance, and those can be repaired or defended.

who would have thought a few years ago that one of the scariest weapons on the modern battlefield would be a cheap hobby drone with an RPG warhead strapped to it

  13. I’m curious but is the U.S. prepared for drone warfare? I haven’t heard from any sources about the topic

They just could have googled it and learned that the US left the base 15 year ago, its basically been part of the Baghdad airport since

  15. it like those videos from the 2nd year of the Ukraine war, drones just flying into bases with no resistance

  16. Compared to the footage coming out of Ukraine, this drone flew like a drunk guy trying to stumble back home but couldn’t remember which house was his.

The base looks abandoned(in a sense that there are no people there), what is happening here?

I remember seeing some meme that both US and Iran warn each other of their attacks. Never thought about it but seeing this video kinda makes me think it was not a meme. Not a single soul on that base, operator goes for a fucking door instead of a vehicle or a fuel tank or at least a roof or something.

  18. How long and thin are those cables? Seeing the drone wrap around the hanger I thought surely it would get stuck

It’s only a matter of time until we see US troops on the receiving end of one of these god damnit

Can someone in lighten me how the fiber optic does not get tangled behind the drone? Or maybe I’m not understanding the fiber optic thing, I thought the drone is physically connected with a fiber optic wire?

I’m guessing this base while „US“ owned has been pretty well cleared out. Not even a radar around to go after.

Shouldve hit the oil against the side of any building this seemed rushed

  23. Thats what i call a targetrich environment if you hate trucks and cars. Dissapointing if you are after Mil. Targets

  24. Fuel pits looked empty but HOW THE HELL did he get so much flight time without anyone stopping him. Wild

  25. Visual-Squirrel3629 on

The number of power lines and buildings that drone flew through and around, makes me wonder how often these fiber optic drones lose their line connection.

They may as well just have hit the shit pit or burn pits for the same effect.

At least someone would have noticed it then.
