The underlying principle of the Republican Party, and even more so for this administration is this: „If you are able to do something to someone, then you are entitled to, period.“ (Originally quoted from Scyllith, the Goddess of Light, Beauty, and Cruelty from The Gods Are Bastards)
They prevent people from getting healthcare because they enjoy the suffering.
I’m not worried about a special military meal before going into combat. I’m concerned far more about the price to go into combat. Weapons, missiles, ships, planes, troops. All massive amounts of unnecessary spending. But no to healthcare for Americans.
That’s the infuriating part.
What so sad is that a large portion of the 82 million are MAGAts. As long as so many people in our country are such idiots, people like Trump and Hegseth can get away with whatever they want to.

Crabs, too, and I’m guessing it’s not the first time.
And fruit basics and a make up room and posters of himself all over the pentagon
This narrative is entirely missing the point. The steak/lobster is a traditional pre-war meal for troops before being deployed. It’s a sort of „last tour of pleasures“ before the horrors of war.
And Hesgeth did this while Trump was saying there never was a war, but the war was over.
The point is the lack of a plan for disrupting the global economy by attacking Iran.
The Trump administration is the most corrupt in the history of America.
Crabs more appropriate
It’s not about the steak and lobster, it’s about Pete not being deserving of any.
o.0 the freezers you’d need. Sounds like enough crab legs and lobster to nicely stock some variety in a few underground shelters. XD
We need to stop saying „healthcare“ and start dumbing it down to „medicine“
Diamond Pete Hegseth gets more than just lobster on the public dime. Trump, Hegseth others in the administration, and their corporate allies are using public funds to enrich themselves and they get away with it, because they use immigrants, trans, Muslims, or DEI as scapegoats for the cause of all the problems in America that enough voters don’t care about their mass corruption.
These people didn’t study the ‚let them eat cake‘ part of history.
The steak and lobster is a tradition, troops get it before deployment. The problem is Hegseth served it while Trump was publicly saying the war was already won.
How much are we paying for Whiskey Pete’s cocaine and hookers?
It’s the great rule from Congress of use it or lose it. So if you don’t spend it then you get less the next year. Why is this just known now?
A huge part of this that most people are ignorantly of, is historically a lot of federal agency are extremely frugal with money and act in that way so the public has confidence in them being good stewards of their tax dollars. Then decade after decade republicans bitch about wasteful spending and every agency has to get even more stingy and tighten their budgets even further. Slash benefits, understaff offices, contract out everything. Then when republicans are in charge they do shit like this without fail.
Lazy outrage bait of two completely different and unrelated policies. What else is new.

[Conservatism](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/conservatism):
>a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, **stressing the importance of established hierarchies and institutions** (such as religion, the family, and **class structure**), and preferring gradual development to abrupt change
>specifically **:** such a philosophy calling for […] **individual financial responsibility for personal needs** (such as retirement income and **health care coverage**)
The *sole* value of conservatism is respect for and obedience to [one’s perception of] traditionally established hierarchy, and hierarchy dictates that those on top (in-groups) are rightfully idolized and receive privileges, credibility, and resources, while those on the bottom (out-groups) are demonized/dehumanized and/or bound by restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources.
To them, the second-greatest injustice imaginable is for those [they perceive to be] on top [of social hierarchy] to be bound by the restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources reserved for those on the bottom. The first greatest injustice is for those on the bottom to have access to the rights, credibility, and resources reserved for those on top.
Those who believe *all people are people* see hypocrisy, while those who believe *some people are „more/less“ people than others* see hierarchy. Hypocrisy implies a sense of equality/parity, as the accusation of such is that someone is violating a *universal* or *common* standard. Hierarchy directly states that there *is no equality/parity*, that different social strata have different standards, that the only universal standard concerning hierarchy is that those on top are allowed privileges which are denied to those on the bottom, and that the bottom are held to standards which the top are exempt from. It is never *the act itself* that upsets them, but rather, *the social standing* of the person doing the act, as said act is a privilege meant for those on top of [their perceived] hierarchy (see also: pedophilia – Trump and the Catholic church versus LGBTQ+ and drag queens).
From [Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy](https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/conservatism/):
>Rational conservatives maintain that a community with a **hierarchy of authority is most conducive to human well-being**.
>Confucius is another possible precursor. His concern with the breakdown of contemporary political institutions led to a cautious, conservative political outlook; **his stress on authority and hierarchy prefigures central conservative themes**.
>With the Enlightenment, the natural order or **social hierarchy, previously largely accepted, was questioned**.
Western conservatism is a product from the Age of Enlightenment — specifically, a [Counter-Enlightenment](https://assets.press.princeton.edu/chapters/i7705.pdf), [a reactionary challenge to the concepts of Humanism](https://engelsbergideas.com/essays/counter-enlightenment/). Its philosophers inherently *reject[ed]* a society governed by logic and reason, human rights and dignity, science and democracy, as its ideology *solely appeal* to the authority of traditionally established hierarchies.
From the [Intellectual Roots of Conservatism: The Burkean Foundations](https://www.britannica.com/topic/conservatism/Intellectual-roots-of-conservatism), the man who is considered to be the founder of modern day Western conservatism had such to say about his ideology:
>Burke shocked his contemporaries by insisting with brutal frankness that **“illusions” and “prejudices” are socially necessary**. He believed that most **human beings are innately depraved, steeped in original sin, and unable to better themselves with their feeble reason**. Better, he said, to rely on the “latent wisdom” of prejudice, which accumulates slowly through the years, than to “put men to live and trade each on his own private stock of reason.” **Among such prejudices are those that favour an established church and a landed aristocracy**; members of the latter, according to Burke, are the “great oaks” and “proper chieftains” of society, provided that they temper their rule with a spirit of timely reform and remain within the constitutional framework.
*The very foundation of conservatism* demands, promotes, and advances a stratified society where *some people are „more/less“ people than others* via *stressing the importance of established hierarchies and institutions (such as class structure)* via *illusions* (lies) and *prejudices* (bigotries).
„Know your place“ is their mantra.
Can they even afford food? I can’t
I don’t want my tax dollars to pay this idiot.
So poor people can’t have welfare because they could technically blow their entire week’s snap budget on a single lobster, even though there’s no real record of this happening. Meanwhile Hegseth spends 7 million dollars IN A MONTH on lobster and its totally fine by conservatives.
The DOD has never passed an audit.Particularly, the food supply chain entity has had several instances of fraud in just the last decade alone.
You mean, mass murderer Pete Hegseth?
And makeup.
Same government who withheld SNAP benefits
Pete Hegseth needs his shit kicked in in a dark alley.
Is anyone surprised? These people are brain dead.
Clueless, careless, chuckle head.
“Let them eat cake” has never ended.
Stop accepting this. Organize and remove.
