Aus sprachlichen Gründen (in den Gemeinden wird mehrheitlich Friulanisch und nicht Venezianisch gesprochen), würde die Annexion aber auch wirtschaftliche Vorteile mit sich bringen, da Friaul-Julisch Venetien eine italienische Region ist, für die eine Sonderregelung gilt, die es ihr ermöglicht, einen Teil der Einnahmen einzubehalten

LOL, those places have mixed group of Friulani and Veneti. The FVG special status as a region is the main reason for the switch. Also, 3 of the municipalities are majority Venetians, included the main city Portogruaro.
Where do you find this map? I lived in Veneto and I am curios about the reasons for that.

Why is the region that doesn’t have Venice in it and doesn’t speak Venetian the only one with „Venice“ in its name?
