      They’re fishing boats. The only thing we should be concerned about is the destruction they cause to sea life. Now that I think of it, that’s more important than Taiwan.

      Invasion by fishing boats. That’s the attack plan! Crewed by soldiers and armed to the teeth. Get close to shore and when everyone is guessing as to what is going on itll be to late!

      With the US distracted in this useless war with Iran, and having shot off half of its stores of first line missile defenses, and having now lost six KC-135 tankers, this would be an ideal time for China to invade Taiwan.

      That will be the crisis which breaks the Trump administration, because the US military will be too taxed to deal with a full scale invasion, Taiwan will be fighting for its life, and most of the top of the line CPUs and semiconductors that the world is expecting will disappear.

      The AI bubble will absolutely tank, the stock market will collapse, the US dollar will collapse as nobody will lend to the US anymore to pay for its enormous deficit caused by this war and all the tax breaks for billionaires and corporations.

      i know that they don’t think that they were fishing, but could they be fishing? herding fish into a fishing zone, like across migration path?

      As was pointed out by another reply last night, uh no, it is preposterous to think that thousands of fishing boats are actually physically moving themselves into some sort of organized structure at sea. Do people have any idea how difficult that would be to coordinate so many boats at sea?

      It’s most likely an artifact from spoofing locations.

      weird thread. everyone acting chill about a country that literally surrounds the entire island of taiwan multiple times a year for military drills and openly says it wants reunification. pretending none of this is worth paying attention to seems naive.

      I tend to think there would not be a attempt any time soon, there was a recent shake up in leadership. Its not 100% impossible tho it seems less likely unless its all a psy op.
