Today after the abysmal jobs numbers, with Quebec taking the biggest hit, the federal government is allowing Quebec to further extend TFW permits.
There was a Bloomberg article that explained it better. Basically QC is still reeling from the US tariffs, especially in aluminum and manufacturing. It’s pure sector exposure to geopolitics. Not necessarily its system or individuals.
