      At this point, it’s almost worth the destruction of the US economy so people will understand how big of a fucking assclown this guy is. The sad part is three-quarters of his base will still „open their holsters“ for him.

      Iran has about 600k active duty and 300k reserv. So far that at most have lost 1500 troops. Keep in mind, they also don’t care about the their own dead on a personal level.

      While this would be enough to make the USA back down, it’s not even close to enough to make Iran surrender. At a guess, I would say they won’t even talk about a surrender until at least 50k are dead.

      Religious fundamentalists famously always surrender after 2 weeks of bombing. Especially when their opponent’s support at home is collapsing in no small part due to this war and they’ve signaled they’re desperate to get out. This certainly won’t either turn into a forever war, or result in the US rapidly pulling out after accomplishing nothing, making the US look weak and alienating our allies further.
