      Terrible loss. It’s stated to be al accident? Not due to friendly or enemy fire..

      Multiple F15s shot down by friendly fire, now refueling planes crashing….Now that I think about it, if this were about China or Russia everyone would be mocking their military for these blunders.

      Tragic news, and it really underlines how many lives are being gambled away in this escalation with Iran for goals that are, at best, murky to the public. Whatever the investigation finds about the collision itself, four people are gone in a war zone that did not need to exist in the first place. Condolences to their families and to everyone who has to keep flying these missions knowing accidents like this are becoming a grim routine.

      The article says another plane was involved, but tge other plane was able to land safely. I wonder if something went wrong while they were refueling another plane mid air.

      Also, I wouldn’t assume that because the plane crashed over Iraq that its current operations were based there. When Ibwas deployed to AL Dhafra Air Base in the UAE we had a few refeulers there at times.

      Imagine dying for this. Like seriously, every service member should be incensed at their leadership for this unnecessary loss of life. None of this would happen if we didn’t attack Iran. These flights wouldn’t be necessary.
