The thing that makes me really think he was never fully in it to win is that it took Melania a full year to move into the White House. I don’t think she ever expected to have to leave her mansion in the sky in New York. None of them actually expected Trump to win.

Bernie was never meant to be allowed the democratic nomination. But we also have to consider that he stood by and didn’t confront this democrat establishment until YEARS later when it was more acceptable to do so. If Bernie had chosen to be more aggressive in distancing himself from both parties, he may have fostered more support.
