Beamte im Vereinigten Königreich wiesen die Anschuldigungen Russlands zurück, dass London für das verantwortlich sei, was Moskau als … bezeichnete "Terroranschlag" nachdem die Ukraine eine mit dem Militär verbundene Anlage in der russischen Region Brjansk mit Storm-Shadow-Marschflugkörpern angegriffen hatte.
Britische Beamte sagten dem Kyiv Independent, dass die Anschuldigungen des Kremls unbegründet seien.
Die Kommentare folgen den Drohungen Moskaus, die vor einer Warnung warnten "ein neues Ausmaß an Zerstörung und menschlichen Verlusten" nach dem ukrainischen Angriff auf die Anlage.
Die russischen Behörden behaupteten, bei dem Angriff seien sieben Zivilisten getötet und 42 weitere verletzt worden. Der Kyiv Independent konnte diese Behauptungen nicht unabhängig überprüfen.
"Der Abschuss dieser Raketen wäre ohne britische Spezialisten unmöglich gewesen," Das sagte Kremlsprecher Dmitri Peskow am 11. März gegenüber Reportern.
