Die Universität Tokio 2026 gab Studenten bekannt, die die allgemeine Zulassung bestanden haben: 2.990; 20,3 % weiblich, 76 % derzeit Oberstufenschüler; Mindestpunktzahl zum Bestehen gesenkt. Im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr wurde die Mindestpunktzahl zum Bestehen in allen Fächern gesenkt und die Fragen scheinen schwieriger geworden zu sein.

I don’t know what their evidence is that the questions are harder. By all accounts it is much easier to get into elite schools these days -even Todai- because the 18 year old population applying is literally less than half what it used to be and so they need lower pass rates and accept a higher percentage of the applicants they get.

 So most likely they just lowered the pass rates so that more people would pass, just like everywhere else.
