Planning a vacation to the mountains. Won’t be going to the states. Going to stay in Canada.
Man they’re really starting to put out more and more stories about the lack of tourism from Canadians. Good. I would be willing to deal with the difference in currency between the two countries but I refuse to spend my hard-earned dollars in a country that „jokes“ about taking over Canada. Not happening.

Step 1) repeatedly insult your allies so there is stigma against going to the states
Step 2) disappear a few folks to create fear around going to the states
Step 3) make everything prohibitively expensive so even those who don’t care can’t go either
Step 4) question why nobody is coming
