– Wie hoch war dein Gehalt?
– Wäre es jetzt noch möglich, bis zum Ende des Schuljahres eine Stelle zu bekommen, oder sind sie normalerweise alle um diese Zeit herum besetzt?
– Sind alle Stellen in der Regel Vollzeit?

I am not one, but I do know quite a few. As far as I know, they need at least one year of uni, and get paid the qualified minimum wage. Usually full time. Cannot stay in that role for more than 2 years. Can start anytime throughout the school year. Schools seem to give preference to their former students (but others can get a position too).
Most assistants are graduates who intend to become teachers.
