Pixar’s initial run was nearly miraculous in its quality and consistency, which makes their subsequent clunkers more painful. I gave this one a chance and ended up walking out. It was like all mid-tier CGI kids movies now, with a sassy/ sarcastic protagonist, frantic pacing, and jokes that just aren’t funny. My theater was crowded but silent, it was weird.
