  1. Will an aam detonate when it hits something as small as a drone? I assume it uses a proximity fuse or something similar to detonate when it’s near the target. They were designed to take out other warplanes, not something as small as a drone

  2. There really seems to be a need nowadays to develop a low cost, low warhead, simple tracking kind of missile. So drone intercept missions aren’t using million dollar missiles for pieces of cardboard
