We should re-open the investigation to Dr. David Kelly so many things don’t add up with his death. Maybe we can find the nukes in Iraq up Blairs bum.

    2. Probably the best thing Blair could have possibly done to make the government look good,

I’m critical of this government in other things, but I will say that not following the US into another conflict like unquestioning puppets(like Blair did) is a solid correct decision in the best interests of this country and I support it.

As for Blair, someone needs to remove this parasite from any involvement in decisions about the Middle East(and our involvement there) for the rest of his bloodstained life.

blair may not be implicated in Epstein files in any way, but he sure is a paid up member of the Epstein class. The best thing is to stay well out of this new Vietnam

Not following the US into this war will looked upon historically to be the equivalent of not following the US into Vietnam.

Tony Blair ruined his reputation in 2003 by sucking up to Bush and charging into Iraq with him for no good reason at all. Now he wants Starmer to do something very similar. The motivation is obvious. If Starmer was stupid enough to do it Blair would not look as bad.

Blair is willing to sacrifice the lives of British military personnel in an attempt to salvage a little of his reputation. Fortunately Cooper is wise to that and we are not going to get involved in anything more than shooting down drones aimed at the Gulf states. If that changes Starmer is toast.

    7. Just because Blair is lining his pockets with US money for his role with the Board of Peace – Blair should just crawl back in to the pond where he came from.

    8. Good ol‘ Blair, has consistently never found A Middle East war he doesn’t absolutely love.

      The man is sick.

      This is good.

I dearly hope Labour doesn’t lose their bottle on this.

We need to stand up to the orange warmonger.

What does Blair think are the objectives of the war? How does he think that these objectives will be achieved. Why is the achievement of these objectives in the interests of the UK?

    11. Blair took us into a war with Iraq on the basis
of WMDs that did not exist. He flat out lied, and countless people died.

Now the Middle East Peace Envoy – yeah right – wants us to support a war that is not approved by the UN, NATO or even Congress, to appease a would-be Fascist Dictator.

Crawl back under your stone, Tone.

    12. The US turns its back on the UK and its allies whenever it’s convenient. We must not join this war, it would be an absolute disaster for the UK, and frankly it’s not ours to fight – Israel and the US can go it alone from here. They’re heading towards the ‘find out’ stage now.

    13. War criminal Tony Blair calling for more war? yeah that seems about right. I guess he will profit from it again somehow

Sod that. Why weren’t we ready for this?

A carrier still getting ready to sail, a destroyer still getting ready to sail, a few extra jets and helicopters.

We’ve known this was coming for weeks. I could respect if they didn’t want to inflame tensions and so kept our stuff away but the moment Trump drunk the koolaid we should have been ready.

Anyone able to explain this lapse in judgement? Makes us look silly imo.

The Trump administration has twice said the UK are a useless military that haven’t fought a war of significance for over 20 years.

We have, in fact, been in two wars in the past 20 years, which we blindly did to support them. They don’t care, what’s the point of having allies if they’re like this?

I mean, him rushing to join America in the middle east is very true to character.

I hate to be so cynical , but what does the average uk citizen have to gain from this war ? It’s all well and good saying that the iranian people will (somehow or other) become free , but frankly i care more about concrete oil prices than some illusionary regime change . Where exactly is the incentive?

    18. Starmer has made good decisions, something that Blair could learn a lot from.

Do not blindly accept what an American leader tells you, and do not enter into illegal wars.
