It doesn’t look like many possible pickups for either party this cycle.
Dems:
Maine, North Carolina, -maybe- Alaska, Texas?
Republican:
Georgia? -maybe- Michigan?
This is speculation without seeing any current polling (if there’s any at this point)

Each state should have one senate election every two years. This 6 years term limit is bullshit.

I assume this map is for state offices.

Missing FL and OH, special elections to finish out the term of previous Senator.

Get ready to utter the phrase, “I didn’t think I could miss Mitch McConnell,” when that that Kentucky election is over with.

A better maps would indicate which of these are incumbents running vs open seats. Such maps are on wikipedia

Florida should be highlighted.
Technically, Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas lives in Florida.

Here in CO, we’re looking to replace tired milquetoast Hick with progressive Julie Gonzales. If you’re from here, come check her out!

I assume these are regular Senate elections. OH and FL have special elections to complete the remaining term.

Good map for republicans. Lots of solidly red states with one or two blue leaning purples. Granted, midterms are terrible for the incumbent party, particularly since temperamentally democrats tend to be more reactionary and republicans less inclined to exercise political power when they don’t perceive a direct threat to their way of life, but still, it’d be hard to imagine a lot of those states going blue.
