    Damit die Schweiz überleben kann, muss sie expandieren, sie wird entweder Teile absorbieren oder die EU oder die EU wird sie absorbieren.


    Die Großschweiz wurde noch nie ausprobiert. Dies könnte sofort das beste Land der Welt zum Leben und die bestmögliche Version des europäischen multinationalen Föderalismus sein.

    Wenn von den Bergen aus regiert wird.

      If you absorb northen italy we remain with no alternatives in case of need of qualified healthcare when ticino fails us.

      Like for the Roman Empire, Rome (current Switzerland) would lose power and money to the faraway provinces: B-W, Bavaria and the Po Valley would be the big winners here (and would get all the Federal Council Members within 20 years). Zurich, bern, and every swiss canton would be the big losers.
