      „Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian had apologized earlier Saturday for launching retaliatory attacks across the Middle East in response to U.S.-Israeli strikes.“

      „He said that Iran would “take all necessary measures” to defend itself, as he vowed that the country would no longer retaliate against neighboring countries so long as it was not under attack from actions originating in those countries.“

      “I apologize … to the neighbouring countries that were attacked by Iran,” Pezeshkian said, in a speech broadcast by state TV.

      „Trump also claimed, without providing any evidence, that he was receiving endless praise from other countries in the region for his operations in Iran.“

      It’s been four years of a full-scale, bloody war in Ukraine, unleashed by Russia, yet no one seems to have drawn the needed conclusions. The battlefield and the nature of warfare have drastically changed. Now it’s time for all countries to seriously rethink their drone and air defense strategies. On top of that, using million-dollar missiles to shoot down drones worth a thousand dollars is not a sustainable approach either.

      He was expecting Venezuela v.2.0.

      He isn’t getting it.

      So he is upset. He expects that blustering will get him what he wants, since he is such a badass and everyone should respect his author-i-thay.

      It’s all just food for his own ego. The completely predictable triumphs of the US military are his personal victories in his tiny mind, due entirely to his strength and courage and genius.

      On the other hand, that Iran hasn’t completely surrendered to him, grovelling at his feet and begging for mercy, is an afront to his ego.

      So here we are, caught in an endless spiral of violence.

      And we see Russian helping Iran with intel and China shipping them land to sea missiles capable of destroying aircraft carriers.

      In the future, we might look back at this as the beginning of WW3, though some might say, it is just the continuation of WW2 which was the continuation of WW1 etc.
