Yeah, I mean, he’s not wrong. They are dying out since young people don’t care. There is just too much competition from other entertainment out there.
He was a douche about it but he wasn’t wrong. Americans care less and less about the arts every year.

Is it just me or is there some sort of smear campaign happening against him? He’s not a criminal or abuser and yet mildly offensive things he says get blown out of proportion and people start commenting about how much they hate him.

Don’t recall ever seeing a post about *professional ballet on Reddit before. So it seems that Timothee Chalamet is doing more to draw attention to ballet than any ballerina.
Correction – There was a relationship post where the OP was concerned with his wife’s friendship with her female ballet instructor.
