Definitely The Tales of Ensign Stål
That war has surprisingly miniature memory print in our national memory. Even in school it’s just a brief mention that it happened, maybe how the commander of Suomenlinna surrendered. I’d say even the hakkapeliitta of the 30 year war are more significant to us, not to mention all the travails of 20th century.
There are [some letters at least](https://sukututkijanloppuvuosi.blogspot.com/2020/09/kirje-suomen-sodasta.html?m=1).
Carl Johan Holm: Muistiinpanoja Suomen sodasta 1808-1809 (published 1836, Holm was a field priest in the war)
I don’t think there’s an entire book but there’s sometimes anecdotes about how the officers felt in other books but the ones I’ve read aren’t really about combat. I’m not sure if there’re any from the common soldiers. Or if there is it might be really old.
There’s a collection of money for the veterans of the war around mid 1800’s so there could be newspaper interviews of something related to that.
Otherwise folk poetry might be the best source for how common people felt about wars. Iirc Paavo Korhonen aka Vihta-Paavo wrote one poem about the finnish war but not really about the combat.
Interesting Ensign Stål adjacent is comic book:
Vänrikki Stoolin korkeajännitys: Edestä maan ja kuninkaan
Drawn by Petri Hiltunen and scripted by Pekka A. Manninen
