I live in one of the gray areas, so „normal“ winter right? But almost all the snow came before Christmas. Melted by the first of the year. Then it got REALLY cold for a couple weeks but with no snow on the ground. And today we had thunderstorms.
So this is what winters have become. They may average out to something „normal,“ but the variation within the season is extreme.

And that was after the woman got called out and the Dems stopped controlling the weather. /s

We never got a cold snap in San Diego (we usually get a stretch where the temps are low 40’s at night in winter). I’m afraid the bugs are going to be insane this year compared to normal.

Can confirm warm living in the Rocky MTN area. I’ve shoveled twice all year and none of the snow has lasted more than a day or two before melting. Most winters we have a foot or more of snow cover from December to March and I shovel at least once a week.
