Both sides are being ridiculous on this one.
The cops were overly aggressive from the jump but the marine was resisting as much as he could without directly assaulting anyone. The senator shouldn’t have gotten involved and is a jackass. They didn’t intentionally break his arm. The marine, while grabbing the doorway to resist being removed, wound up getting his arm wedged in the opening. He said nothing about this and the police weren’t aware and just assumed he was refusing to let go of the doorway. It’s unfortunate that he was injured. The cops were aggressive and dumb, the marine was disruptive and resisting being removed, the senator overstepped and made things worse.
