      I used to be all in favor of impeachment even though we know it’s impossible, but I feel like all it does is reinforce the idea that impeachment is a functional process for removing politicians. It implies that impeachment is working as intended. But it’s not. It’s fundamentally broken. As is our entire government. And I think that’s what pisses me off most about democrats. They keep acting like everything is fine. Like everything is working the way it’s supposed to, even though they know it’s not. They can’t acknowledge that the system is fundamentally broken, probably because doing so threatens their own power as well.

      Even if that goes through it’ll do absolutely nothing. To a normal presidency that would be devastating, but to Trump that’s not even an inconvenience. There’s nothing special about Bondi, there are 100 people just as willing to do the same thing waiting in the wings.
