That’s because we have the highest cost of living. What are you going to cut when inflation has gobbled up discretionary income? Housing , food, transportation, taxes, and medical- and maybe insurance if you can squeeze it out of the paycheck. Everything else waits.
BC seems like an expensive province to manage. If you guys want a bunch of highways built on the sides of mountains then you need to have some kind of taxes whether foreign lobbying firms like them or not.
