It’s breathtaking how illegitimate PL1 is. At no point was this ever discussed during the last election. There were no public consultations prior to the bill being drafted. It is being done right at the tail end of an extraordinarily unpopular government, as part of a maximum-division strategy by the PM meant to save his skin that failed. And it is being adopted while the PM has announced that he is quitting.
That’s some real Constitution for ya.
