This is what everyone that’s not a MAGA Moron figures the Dems are going to win in November then this dumb shit will change.

Remember these Republicans who have conspired to put America into recession.

  3. RoosterMedical on

First they vote to reduce the taxes on the wealthy, then they vote for an unnecessary $1 billion per day war.

My prediction is these guys are going to lose power and never get it back again for decades. One last dance on their way out , history will remember them for the lowlives that they are.

    Notice the media trick…

When republicans do something bad it is called the „Senate“. If the Dems passed it they would say Dems.

  6. Love how the Marjority IS Republicans but this title says MAJORITY… make them own it.

  7. citizenjones on

Wow, so it’s all ass backwards now? Presidents start wars, Senate votes to *not* vote on war?

  8. Rude-Strawberry-6360 on

If Americans want different then they have to vote different. And just vote at all period. As opposed to sitting out and then complaining. If you don’t vote, you don’t get to complain.

  9. So Republicans agree a short term king is the idea behind the presidency? And as a Canadian I hope it’s short term

  10. The_Playbook88 on

For all the complaining about losing in the midterms, they vote to continue the war…. Ensuring they lose the midterms.

Remember all the traitors voted to continue this unsanctioned war. Hold them responsible for their actions.

  12. Well at least their name is to a vote now

This isn’t just Trump’s war now. It is now the Republican’s war. Trump started it, Republicans green-lit it. They own it now, with Trump.

November can’t come soon enough. I just hope that WWIII hasn’t progressed any further. There are now 14 nations either directly or indirectly involved in this war. And it’s only expected to increase from there.

….And now Trump is saying he’s going to embargo an EU nation (Spain) because they said Trump needs permission before using their bases to launch attacks. This is just getting worse and worse

  13. Republicans and Fetterman need to go. Congress needs to reestablish its powers that it has given to the Executive Branch because no president should have this much power

  14. This headline really doesn’t make it seem like it was a narrow majority(52-47) or the fact that it was the republicans.

  15. HoldOnDearLife on

We have this ass backward. We have to vote to start a war. What is happening now is blatantly unconstitutional and illegal. I am beyond saddened that our troops are listening to these orders.

Whoever has the American military on their side listening to them will be able to hold on to that power almost most definitely.

Vote them all out. When they are up for reelection, remember this along with the other horrible things they have allowed this admin to do, and vote them out!!!

  17. Republicans own this war just as much as Trump. Don’t let them off the hook

  18. I’m so confused….isn’t this backwards. Isnt congress supposed to authorize the auction before hand. Not try to pass a law…….after? Do I not understand how AUMFS work or do we live in the bizarro universe? Seriously how is this supposed to work.

  19. AdmiralSnackbar816 on

Add this to the list of the times when this lunatic could’ve been reigned in, but our heroes in congress collectively shat their pants. We’re watching a slow motion crawl to a full blown World War 3, including the ending of modern civilization. All because…what exactly? Because some geriatric men got their feelings hurt?

  20. HerpDerpTheMage on

I nominate that we send Senate Republicans to go fight on the front lines for a few weeks and then ask again if they support this war. They clearly don’t care so long as it’s other people and their kids risking their lives to please another country’s sociopathic leader.

For that matter, send Fetterman, too. Let him get a taste of who he’s sided with, cause it sure isn’t the people.

  21. To-Far-Away-Times on

So Republicans went on record as supporting and endorsing the War on Iran.

History will remember them as not being able to meet the moment. They were beneath it.

  22. PeppermintEvilButler on

Seriously? What the actual fuck is going on here. How much money have these people embezzled or been bribed for this bs?

  23. Lanky_Instance3121 on

so our government is not voting in favor of >70% of constituents they were elected to represent? remove them all from office.
