      As warship enjoyer this just makes me sad. Previously I completely overlooked the Iranian navy. And today I learned about all the cool and interesting capabilities they had. All because they were blown to bits.

      This footage of an apache helicopter shredding insurgents around a truck to pieces.

      Now every war is also a PR campaign and a footage war. I don’t even know if there are still attacks that are not ‚declassified‘.

      As a casual observer I’m actually embarrassed for Iran and surprised by the Iranian navy performance.
      I was always told or understood that their trump card was their navy.

      Swarm attacks on the USN would overwhelm any sophisticated defence and inflict some level of damage, and they could close the Strait at will (yes it is effectively closed but not because of their navy).

      Talk about a paper tiger.
