    Bisher haben die Kurden nur in zwei Ländern große Gebiete erobert und in beiden Fällen ethnische Säuberungen begangen

    Dieselbe KDPI und ihre kurdischen Brüdergruppen fielen Anfang der 1980er Jahre in den Iran ein und verübten Massenverbrechen, sowohl in kurdischen als auch in aserbaidschanischen Gebieten. Der aserbaidschanische Widerstand war erheblich, reichte aber nicht aus, da wir entwaffnet waren (genau wie jetzt).

      Turkey will definitely intervene and attack the Kurdish forces; they’ve already confirmed this.

      I wonder what Aliyev will do. The Kurds probably want to expel the Azerbaijanis from Urmia and maybe some Parts of West Azerbaijan.

      If this happens Iran itself can just form Armed Shia Turk militias that supports the regime. Turks are mostly conservative and religious in that area so they may possibly support current regime to defend the area.

      You guys are so foolish. These Kurdish organisations have a ton of ethnic Azeri members because they’re one of the few paths available for those that want to directly fight against the regime. There’s no beef between Kurds and Azeris, our regions are largely separate, and we don’t even have enough manpower to enter and liberate Azeri regions on top of our own, that’ll fall on them. The only people upset with this situation are the pan Turks who claim all of West Azerbaijan province as Turkic, even the South, ignoring the fact that Kurds existed and lived there even before Turkic migrations begun.

      The deal is Kurds liberate their regions on the ground, then Israel will come in and set-up base there, Israel will then train and arm regular civilians to fight against the army. In exchange for this help Kurds will get an Israeli backed state in their regions of the northwest.

      İ personally hope it doesnt happen.

      İ’m not even a hardcore „south Azerbaijan must become independent“ supporter, if Azerbaijanis can carry on their lives in a unified and peaceful/free iran then theres no need for independence.

      But if iran is falling apart anyway why not respect the provincial borders? Theres a Kurdistan province right beneath the West Azerbaijan province, why not take that instead?

      İf PJAK and other kurdish nationalist parties are going through with this İ hope that both Azerbaijan and Turkey help to protect the provinces integrity.

      Afaik the bulk of the population in west-Azerbaijan lies in the cities anyway, and the cities are majority Azerbaijani while rural areas in the west of west Azerbaijan are mostly kurdish.

      This is what happens when you give others full leverage over your own country. One more victim of Israeli and American false promise. How can you even trust them after what they have done? Weren’t Afghanistan,Iraq,Syria,Venezuela,Libya enough for you to think that the West will always put themselves first. And they don’t care what will happen to ordinary people.

      Anyways, there is a chance that Iran will collapse and we will get our lands back. We Azerbaijanis created Iran in 16th century. We have right to reclaim our land.
