      Biggest mistake beyond starting this war was Trump pulling out of JCPOA. War mongers lie about diplomacy failing. W Bush did that on the Iraq war. Trump and his Republican party did the same on Iran.

      No logic could pin this on Obama or Biden. None. MAGA will try to do the gymnastics in their cobweb attics still for a while, but when everything is incredibly expensive because of oil prices, they’ll eventually eat their own.

      Obama had a COALITION agreement with inspections built around Iran’s nuclear program. Trump came in and ripped it up unilaterally. Iran continued to adhere to the agreement, and was allowing inspectors from Europe to continue the agreement. Not satisfied with just simply undoing what the black guy did, Trump then imposed second degree sanctions on Iran. After that, they decided to not adhere to any agreements, as the agreement was null and void from an untrustworthy partner in their eyes. Iran will not ever trust the USA again after twice being attacked while they had active negotiations underway, and Trump ripping up the nuclear agreement.

      Biden, sadly did nothing to rectify this during his term, although his hands were pretty tied after Trump ruined any capability to negotiate by being so untrustworthy and not adhering to the agreement in place.

      Trump came back into office, and bombed Iran’s nuclear capabilities for Bibi. He told us their capabilities were totally obliterated.

      Bibi then got Trump to do what no US President would do for 40 years despite trying with EVERY administration, and saying Iran was weeks away from nuclear capabiities since 1995. Trump did exactly what Bibi wanted him to do, and participated in attacking Iran and attempting regime change. There was no imminent threat to the USA. The logic of proactive force because Israel was going to attack is circular logic. We’re the larger country and needed to tell Israel that if they attacked we would NOT support them, and no longer supply them with weapons. I wonder why we couldn’t do that as a sarcastic question? As we all know Israel has the dirt on Trump and likely blackmailed him into attacking. The regime change will NOT work, and we will be embroiled in the conflict for years to come now. Bibi has dirt on Trump, and gave him an option for distraction, and assured him the dirt they have „will never come out if he did what they wanted.“

      US troops have now died, for a catastrophic policy that will absolutely make Americans less safe, will cost our taxpayers billions, and likely require boots in Iran and many more casualties. Iran is a country with hundreds of thousands of IRGC working for the Ayatollas. It has a militia in the millions. No amount of bombing is going to change their regime. The kurds in the country and region have been betrayed over and over, and while they’ll likely partake in hostilities, they will NOT overthrow the regime.

      Iran is making this a costly affair for the world to pressure the USA to stop. They will continue to do so. The USA cannot protect the straight of hormuz, they cannot even protect their consularies and embassies in the region. Traditional allies see the action as illegal as there was no declaration of war, no war powers from the arm of the gov’t that is legally responsible for doing so, and none are going to come to help the US and Israel.

      When the USA tries to escort tankers, and takes fatal strikes on the Navy from drones fired at point blank range that will be impossible to intercept, this is going to REALLY get ugly. The stock market will crash, oil will skyrocket, and the US population will absolutely turn on him, his 38% approval rating will likely drop to the 20s. Sadly, it’s STILL going to take the midterms to get congress to have the majority to stand up to him and stop him. He will likely ignore congress and keep doing things he doesn’t have the authority to do without their rubber stamp and be impeached again, but this time there will be no choice but to remove him from office.

      See, it’s all Obama and Biden’s fault(s) because they were better presidents than Trump, and it makes him very jealous and cranky, leaving him no recourse but to strike out Iran.

      This is especially true with Epstein. If only they had diddled some kids too… then THEY’D have had to start a ruinous war that would devastate America’s and the world’s economies, rather than leaving poor president Trump to do it all by himself!

      If only we had set some sort of Nuclear deal with Iran that had allowed us near unlimited access to their facilities. That would have kept things safe without all the senseless loss of life.

      We had a deal they could have enforced terms with both economic and with international pressure. The trump administration threw it out because Obama did it and in doing so damaged the willingness of Iran to engage in any other diplomatic solution.

      This all traces back to Trump’s actions.

      It’s exactly why people who have dirt out there on them can’t be in positions of power because it’s a threat to national security. I just cannot understand what the US security and intelligence community are doing, or rather not doing. They have catastrophically failed to protect their country. Not throwing Trump in prison after Jan 6 was also a colossal mistake. The fact that the MAGA voters can’t see the light is I think the main issue that’s stymied attempts to thwart this criminal organization. If only Republicans would have the balls to all tell their voters the truth and just take the loss of their seat if they have to, to at least try to set things right. There’s no way all Republicans in congress agree with all this or want the future these insane people are planning.

      Under Obama there was a nuclear agreement with Iran. Trump could have shaken down the Middle East kingdoms for free jets and golf courses for the remainder of his term — instead he allowed Bibi Netanyahu to run US foreign policy
