      The US spent weeks positioning and relocating their fleet as well as bombers, logistics. All obvious preparation for war to start and when it does start, points at Israel and says they started it first. Basically: „I punched him first because I thought he was going to punch me.“

      A lot of contradictions and moving of goalposts now that it looks like their ultimate goal is not going to happen.

      They were way too confident they could bomb Iran into a regime change, but with the vast majority of the regime and their troops in secure locations and zero sizable and well armed opposition groups in the country they’ll continue to be in control. The only way to change that is on the ground invasion, which is not going to happen as it would be immensely unpopular and cost thousands of lives on both sides. It would guarantee the GOP losing the next election.

      Right now it looks like nothing will really change, and many people are going to ask what the point was and the US is really going to scramble to try and justify it since everyone believed regime change was the whole point.

      I still believe Trump is a Russian agent. If you look at it objectively he has created a war which essentially cuts off Middle East oil from its largest customers, “forcing” them to buy Russian oil.

      The Chinese and Russians must be laughing away at this. Imagine which Russia launches a massive attack on Ukraine and China on Taiwan. The US won’t know where to shit and where to eat!
