    1. This actually is pretty good for the NDP. They’ll inevitably make it a contest of two that the Conservatives will find difficult to win.

Wow I guess I was tuned out of BC politics for a while, did Clark seriously do so much damage to the liberals that they dont even poll high enough to mention even still?

    3. Not great for the NDP, the Conservatives have no leader and are still competitive.

What will be interesting to watch is what strategy the Conservatives take to deal with OneBC. Two different schools of thought here, one would suggest destroying the party, and another would suggest trying to get them back into the Conservative fold.

You’re always going to have cranks who want to form their own party and are a nuisance, but recalling Dallas Brodie would take a lot of wind out of their sails. They’d no longer get the free money from the legislature that is used to fund most of their promotions, and would probably send the party back down to 1%, which would make a Conservative victory far more likely.

I’m so glad OneBC is sitting right where it should. Quoting Wikipedia about its leader:

Initially elected as a member of the [Conservative Party](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservative_Party_of_British_Columbia), Brodie has since been removed from the Conservative caucus for „using her position of authority to mock testimony of survivors of abuse, including child sex abuse,“[^([4])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_Brodie#cite_note-4) and has been denounced by government officials as well as Indigenous and non-Indigenous groups across the country for being a disseminator of [conspiracy theories](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspiracy_theories) about [residential schools](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Indian_residential_school_system).[^([)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_Brodie#cite_note-5)
