But will continue to do it, because Money, Money, Money!! What a fall from grace this company has had. From non-profit, aiming to better mankind, to building the next devastating weapons of the future.

His entire tenure has been opportunistic and sloppy. Don’t know how this is any different.

  3. So he’s going to back out of the deal, right?

No? Then these are just empty words.

Bro is trying to play both sides. If you wanna be a powerful freak, be a powerful freak and stop pretending to apologize.

nobody should be using openAI’s platform. it’s time to drive this snake to its demise

They only care because of public backlash and mass ‚removal of their app‘, the loss of userbase and *potential revenue* (but with such poor quality product output that is never going to be realised).

There is zero genuine concern about their unethical conduct.

Opportunistic and sloppy is quite literally his only mode of operation.

  8. Altman is a hype man, I cancelled and removed the app today. Honestly just sad as I had hopes that it would stay non profit. Honestly will be happy if the AI bubble bursts and the tech billionaires get spanked.

  9. Oh, the classic backtrack when the money flow might get threatened. If people hadn’t reacted like they did, he’d be on every camera touting his „patriotism“.

  10. fuck them, even don’t let me delete my own account. typed „DELETE“ in the input field below. still locked

„shall not *intentionally* be used for domestic surveillance of U.S. persons and nationals.“

    Oozing plausible deniability.

The shit just happened 2 days ago, they are still using Claude, and he already has seller’s remorse.

  13. Anyone else hate that guy?

This pentagon deal means they are now too systematically important to fail. They will get a government bail out if its needed. There’s been serious questions about financial viability over the past few months. I think this deal erases that.

  14. Without looking it up, he wrote a long ass tweet explaining his sell out?

  15. We can’t wait for an opportunistic and sloppy ceo, to push his sloppy AI product into indiscriminate killing robots. This instills great confidence in humanity current state

  16. Your words are meaningless, Sam. You have screwed up big time and things are not going to get rosier from here.

  17. He’s like a better put together Trump, just say all the things so that everyone gets a chance to hear what they want

“Opportunistic and sloppy” is a pretty good description of Sam Altman and OpenAI.

He’s craven and, just like Musk and every other one of these guys, empty. The exhausting part in all this is it’s just money and that’s it. None of these guys have visions beyond comfort and wealth. Just a bunch of worthless lazy children.

I’ve told everyone i know to switch to claude. You can’t trust this guy

Snake oil Sam can get rekt. Happy to be part of the hundreds of thousands of ChatGPT app uninstalls over the weekend.

    I’ll try Claude for now…
