      This is missing quite a few Muslim communities, including for some reason half of Maghreb.

      It looks like the border very neatly splits them into north and south. Are there other differences between northern and southern Muslims?

      In Finland it’s known as Eid. I guess most Muslim immigrants come from the blue countries.

      You could divide this even further if we went by province since some minorities use a different term than either of these. Interesting map to see nonetheless.

      Kazakhstan uses Ait (pronounced like eye-t) derived from Eid, so it should be blue.

      In Turkish, bayram refers to all festive occasions. To distinguish, Eid is called “Ramazan bayramı”, feast of the Ramazan month.

      I am intrested to see what the Hui in China say ? Assuming they are more Persian influenced they would say Eid too
