      The kidnapping, human trafficking, removal of due process, torture, abuse, and murder should also be a national scandal.

      So, essentially, from top to bottom, Trump’s brown shirts should be in jail.

      It would be, were the president not flooding the entire news landscape. We live in times where some people think the Epstein Files are needed to sink DJT, because the window of what is acceptable for a president to do has transformed under Trump.

      People don’t give a fuck when kids are shot to death at school, or when kids are strangled by cops at a walkout and then illegally held in jail for over a week. You think they’re gonna care about conditions in an ICE facility?

      It was in first Trump administration too, but ~70% of eligible voters were apparently okay with this. Hard to call it a scandal, just a deep national shame.

      The fact that we’re building out a network of concentration camps is the scandal. Kinda goes without saying that the conditions in such places are…subpar.

      There is no more scandal to be had. You are witnessing open corruption, masked men taking people in unmarked vans from the streets without warrants. DOS is deporting people who are here legally for their speech. The administration is taking over private broadcasters.

      Feels like the Germans who weren’t scandalized until the horrors against the Jews became known. „Oh jeez, if we knew they were killing them, we just thought they were incarcerating them and then deporting them. No way we could have known.“

      Lots of things should be a national scandal, but fixing them takes money and wealthy people want to be wealthy.

      Some Joe Rogan meathead told me I was uneducated for saying these concentrations camps were awful.

      The conditions should be a scandal, but first we have to get people to realize what is happening. The party told them not to believe their eyes and ears and the base is following their orders.
