      Oh shit,I did not realize we just saw a huge shift in anti-drone tech and honestly looks kind of cool. Kind of like a beyblade. I wonder how powerful they and light they are and if they can be used by local front line troops.

      Its pronounced Yolka – And yes, no warhead so its faster and easier to produce. It rams into the drone – its supposed to be a shoot and forget type of device where the AI recognizes targest within 600 – 1000m and locks on and crashes into it to detonate them

      Edit: To whoever said ‚manually piloted‘ – which part of shoot and forget is difficult to grasp?

      Besides conserving lives, the effectiveness of countering aerial drones is becoming better & better I think it’s one of the reasons your seeing more use of the UGVs

      After watching footage of the Elka drone-killer in use, sorry it won’t work against the newer Ukrainian high speed Stinger drones. After reviewing live footage of them flying it become obvious they are not very fast. This will work against older style slow drones and to some degree bomber drones. It’s too big and heavy for smaller slower high agility drones as well.

      We can all collectively agree this is bad ass get one of those to the US so it can be reverse engineered.

      It’s kinda funny how great the tech is for a solid 3 months till they switch things up
