      China relies heavily on voice chat. Now they get to figure out and fix the edge cases. At least most manufacturers are starting to realize consumers want buttons for core features like headlights, climate control, wipers and such.

      Cars don’t need voice controls. My EQS has it and it’s annoying as fuck.

      Ah yes, the interface people who’d wish everything ran on voice (too slow)…

      I can’t be the only one that wants them to still make dumb cars.

      I don’t want a vehicle that works like a cell phone or computer I want a vehicle that’s affordable and reliable with no tech ( outside the legal mandated stuff like backup cams)

      This car has stalks behind the steering wheel for shifting (on the right) and at least for the blinkers and wipers (on the left). I would really be surprised if it had zero physical controls for the lights, at least for flashing the high beams.

      The actual issue is that the car should not shut off the lights while moving and especially at night no matter what you command it by voice. It’s an implementation issue.
